Emmitt couldn't get off this weekend to run at VIR, so I'll pass as well. The Protege needs some work before the MARRS/ SARRC anyway...

Ya'll have fun!

So I heard the weather was wild and crazy on Saturday, apparently race control had to shut things down for a couple of hours. Any update from the corner guys?

We had to shut down for about 1.5 hours in the afternoon around 2:00pm. Resumed the last 4 run groups around 3:30 after the lighting and tornado watch passed... decision was made to shorten the races to 10 laps instead of the normal 14 lap race. Turn one was a mess after the storm with a wet track and a swamp in all the run off area... there was 4 of us on 1, most of the time we had 3 workers doing push and point to get them out of the water/mud/soup.. especially the open wheels.
