New Location!!!! Old Wal-Mart in Pulaski - Ariel View

The Wal-Mart in town just moved out. and the parking lot is of good size. I would have to say it probably comparable to Verona.

Ill take some pictures tomarrow to give you all who aren't familiar with the lot a general idea of what we could be dealing with.

I think this would be a great opportunity as I doubt anything is going to be moving into that building for a long time. Not only that as of late we all know we dont have many locations at our disposal.

I feel that this may be a good chance. Heck all they can say is "No", right....?

I took some pictures of the lot. The big Cart Corrals are movable except for the one by the handicap parking. SO the othe r2 can easily be moved out of the way to make space.

The road along the building and handicap parkign I figured could easily be made into the paddock + t/s area. Also the back side of the parking lot in front of Maurices and Rent-A-Center Im sure can also be used for paddock or extra parking. SInce neither store Maurices or RaC dont get enough business to use tthat space back there.

Im gonna highlight the arial photo as to what areas that can be used.

Here is my interpretaion of what could possibly be used at WalMart.

YELLOW - marks the Light Posts

Green - Handicap Parking SIgns

Light Blue - Nonmovable cart corral.

Red - Full Usuable area for autocross course. Inside of all grass islands/etc.

Blue - Potential extra parking. Maurices & Rent-a-Center unused parking.

Seagreen - Large handicap parking in front of doors. Potential Timing and scoring + starting grid.

Violet - Paddock

Notes: I marked Blue Ridge Banks location. They have thier own entrance and ixits that are on Memorial Drive.

IMPORTANT Things: Food is approxamately 1 mile to the right of Wal-Mart. Tabo Bell & KFC. There is also Wendy's & McDonalds less than 4 miles away. Also a Advance Auto Parts and O'Rielys just in case someone breaks something.

Bathrooms, im sure would need to be orderd.

In terms of curbing and lightpoles is there enough room to make this a second gear course? that and what of parking ? Looks promising, we could certainly use more lots.
