1990 Miata

Post by Scott »

It pains me to do this, but I am selling my '90 Miata that I have been running the past couple of years. Car currently has 128k. It is a "B" package car with PW, PS, AC, etc... Everything is works great. New paint last Oct. It runs great and has been very reliable. Here is the spec list, but I am sure I am missing some things. I have all maintance records, and even the original window sticker for the car. Since I have owned the car it has always been garaged. Every winter it has also properly stored and covered in a heated garage.

-Koni Yellow Adjustable Sport Shocks, rebuilt last winter
-Ground Control Coilovers w/ eibach springs 375 front 250 rear, currently installed, I also have 600lb for the front (was going to put the 375's on the rear)
-Racing Beat front and rear bars
-Harddog roll bar
-Timing belt and water pump replaced at 120,000
-Clutch was replaced at 123,000, along with a new clutch master installed
-Trans and diff flushed with Redline in the past month
-Chaparral wheels, 15x7 with Azenis 615's that where new this summer
-Corbeau drivers seat, with new 6-pt harness
-New Flyn Miata cat
-Racing Beat cat-back put on this summer
-Factory "R" package front and rear spoiler
-Track Dog front splitter
-Brembo rotors with Hawk pads (I also have another set of the rotors with Hawk Blues for the track)
-factory VLSD

$7500

 NOOOOOOOOO! lol, it pains me to see you sell the Miata. This area's best STS2 Car/Driver combo is about to be split up?
Whoever buys it get's a very well sorted out STS2 car that doubles as an excellent track/Time Trials car (just ask some of the guys who go to HPDE's what the backend of this car looks like, they should be able to provide a good description)[/url]

goes to figure. Soon as I buy a house a perfectly spec'd out miata comes up for sale.

Hopefully an auto crosser picks this car up. Would be a shame to see it go to anyone else. Whats the plan for next year?

I'm sorry to see you selling this :( Are you heading in the direction of road racing and trying to get a different car for that?

Yep, I am hopefully going to be headed for SSM with a differernt Miata this coming year (which is also a DSP classed autox car). I started getting everything in order to turn my car into one, but when it came down to it, I just wasn't able to tear it apart. My next problem is that I have had several people interested in the car and make offers, but I haven't found anyone that I really want to sell the car to (I know I am being way to picky).
