Old RidgeRunners are online

Post by glenthompson »

It's a blast from the past. When he moved to Florida, Maury Hamill gave me his collection of RidgeRunners - 21 years worth from 1982 until 2002. I have scanned them and they are available under the Links pylon.

It's fun to see what some people used to drive - David Clemens was not the first to autocross a Corvair.

There were a Ford Escort rental car that Carl C. and I drove in GS, that had such a soft suspension, that I drove the inside rear wheel over a pylon.

Great job Glen! Thanks for making this pre-internet BRR history available to all. Makes keeping that stuff so long worth while. Hope everyone enjoys it.

Maury (with no e, unlike many of the references in the old Ridge Runners)
