For safety reasons the Internet can only be used at speeds of less than 3 mph. If the vehicle has a rear DVD system, passengers in the back seat can access the Internet when the vehicle is traveling at any speed.
I wonder how long it will take that bit of code to be hacked?

On how many hackers have iDrive BMW's now. If they can get past any data encryption they just need to find the bit that stores MPH.

I'd give it 3 months, 6 tops. That is provided there is an interface to load data into the system.

Jebus another reason to take thier eyes off the road. :(

Just as bad as a friend of mine who was backed into, the lady in her huge SUV claimed that she couldnt see his hatchback in her rear view camera.
