So what's the back story? Did you plant some magic beans on your farm and a corvette appeared the next day?

Well, I've wanted to own a Corvette since I was about old enough to distinguish between different cars. This one popped up at New River Nissan last week in my price range, so I did some calling around to see if it was feasible. My insurance agent informed me that she has passed a lot of business their way over the years (including her own), so I could probably get a good deal, and it costs less to insure than the GP. I talked it over with the dealer on Sat. morning, and we came to an agreeable arrangement on both trade-in on the GP and financing for the Vette. Laura and I both agreed that we are at a point in our lives where we can afford to have a two-seat car in the stable, so we signed for it at about 1pm Sat. She's getting used to driving the manual, and is growing more fond of it the more she's behind the wheel, so I get very little grief over it

Bad karma to let your wife drive a Vette.. Jane drove my cousins '72 Vette many years ago and now owns her own '99 Coupe.. Best car we ever owned besides the Z06. We get 30 mpg on the interstate so it makes a great road car for trips.
