Hello team, I ran in a single event in May, 2015 in Danville, and had a blast. It was great meeting so many awesome and positive folks, everyone from BRR-SCCA was very helpful. I had only the one chance to race, really enjoyed it. Unfortunately my car was at the shop and not drive-able the rest of 2015 and most of 2016. I finally got it back, and intend on racing as much as possible for the 2017 season. I have an SCCA membership to be able to run in 2017, my helmet is on order, and have been reading the SCCA rule draft for the upcoming year, would like help confirming class for the pending season. I am still completely new to the sport, and I would like to make sure my (lack of) experience is appropriately classed for the start of this year as a I look to new events for registration. Any help identifying the best class choice is appreciated-
Happy to answer questions about the car, and me, to dial in to a category.

Re: Class question
My immediate thought is that you qualify for CAM-C (Classic American Muscle - Contemporary). It's a fairly new class and has very few rules. Don't change the chassis, have it registered, have most of the interior, and use 200 treadwear tires. The rest is up to you.

Re: Class question
definitely go with the Cam-c. Otherwise, I believe that your diff throws you into Street Mod. You'd be up against some MONSTER AWD cars.
Hey, what does this thing do *zap* oww,.... so that's what it does!
