Mind I ask why it changed from Corn Beef and Company?

Shawn,

This is being given a trial run, primarily as an accommodation to Lynn and I. Travel time from our house to CB&Co is about an hour and 45 minutes. Having the meeting on the north side of Roanoke and close to I-81 cuts a significant amount of time off that, while still keeping the meeting location "local" for the rest of the board.

No problem with CB&Co. We like to go there.

Generally a lot of bench racing. :D

It's when we make the decisions affecting the club. Approval of expenditures for equipment and other event items. More and more these days is accomplished electronically, either via e-mail or forum discussions.

It's also a place I get guidance on SEDiv matters. As RE I'm one of the directors of the SE Division. I try to vote in the best interests of our members.

So these meetings are primarily more for the "officers" of the region?

Region business is discussed/decided/voted on at these board meetings, and all members are invited to attend and participate. These meetings are very causual, and as Glen mentiioned, there is typically more bench racing than a business meeting.
