VIR National April 12/13

Post by tac911t »

If you are free on Saturday before the Solo II at Salem, come down to Vir for the Double National. NCR has 521 entries, and with this being a double and early in the year, a large number of drivers from out of the area will be there. Qualifying in the morning and races in the afternoon both days. And if you are not going to the Solo II on Sunday come down that day also. The usual BRR workers will be there Chris and Eric, and I will be driving the Pace Car during the weekend (yeah!!! driving someone elses car on the track!!).

Steve S, Jeff W, Greg C will be there racing.

It's gonna be a brawl. The region merged Spec Miata and the Showroom Stock/ T3 classes altogether in run group three. Looks like about 50 cars, give or take.

The other classes will feature lots of fast ($$$) cars and close racing. If you're there, look us up in the paddock. We usually hang near the false grid in the middle lanes.

Yes, there's a gate charge. I've used up all my crew passes, otherwise you could sign in with me.

Typical one day passes aren't too bad, though.
