Minor Waiver Question

I should know the answer to this, but does a minor child (i.e. 16 years old) need an SCCA minor waiver to hang in the paddock for a club race weekend?
I'm thinking they only need it for the hot pits, but figure I'd best ask.
TIA- Steve

It would be required for solo. I can't imagine club racing being less stringent.

Yes. If they want to work in the pits, it requires a minor crew license.

This young man is my daughter's squeeze. He'd be just spectating, but since I plan to sign him in as crew I expect I'll need the waiver.
thks all

If you are signing him in as crew then you should put him to work. It would be an opportunity for him to demonstrate the proper respect through service to the family patriarch
