Selling my roundie project car. First shot to BRR members. Decent body, very nice interior. Silver w/ black interior. Recaro's, 5-speed conversion, Momo wheel, etc. No structural rust, rockers and shock towers solid. Not perfect, but a good driver. Has original injection pump, etc. Mileage unknown. VIN 2760242.
Bought it to tinker with before getting the Spec Miata bug. No time now!

Changed my mind on pricing. There's some stuff I need for the Spec Miata. $4,000 to BRR readers and it's yours.

I may regret this, but is it still for sale?

Scott, the short answer is yes. At the moment, though, I have the Kugelfisher Fuel pump and injectors off the car being cleaned and rebuilt by a specialist. That was the last big thing left, because although the car was good runner it would sometimes run rich and foul plugs. It was better in warm weather than cold, but I thought I would go ahead and address it since I had no takers at the time.
I'm looking for the pump back in a week or so, then I need to get it back on (which will be another couple of Saturday afternoons, I'm slow). Will probably rethink the price, but only to cover this latest stuff. If you don't mind waiting, how about I let you know when I'm done?
If you want to come take a look in the meantime, I'm around for the next couple of weekends. It's just sitting the garage, keeping Miata #2 company.

sounds good, I am in no hurry, so I'll wait until it gets back together (mostly because I am gone the next 4 weekends in a row...)

That will be about right. The pump is supposed to be on its way back to me the first of the week.
I'll be in touch..........

Do you still have this?
I was looking at a 2002tii down in TN and have been kicking myself for never picking that one up lol. Now there's one an hour from me lol.

Still have it, just started to put the reman pump and injectors back on it this past weekend. Keep checking this space- Scott gets 1st look but then I will "relist" when I'm done (and as noted below, I'm slow but thorough....)

I'll pass Steve, with my car getting stolen and the build Spec Miata I just bought to replace it, I do not have the time or room (or more importantly wife tolerance) for another project

I bought one of Alan Olson's cars. It's a little rough around the edges, but it will be a great tool to learn with and improve. If I pass the licensing eval, my first race with NASA will be Oct. 12th

As mentioned elsewhere in this thread, I have finished installing the rebuilt Kugelfisher fuel pump (and injectors). The car runs great!

This is fortunate, since if you noticed my post of last week under "Club Racing" my Spec Miata needs a few things (like a front clip and some serious bodywork).
So, to reset, I'm selling a 1972 original Tii in very good condition, including favorite upgrades like Recaro seats, 5 speed trans, 320i radiator, etc. The pump/ injector rebuild invoice was about $1,100, along with everything else done to the car in the original ad (link for pic's is still good). Have to adjust my price a bit- need about $5,000 as is. (I'll likely list on ebay for quite a bit more if there's no local interest).
Motivated seller- the body shop bill will be here soon. Call or send PM, I'm in town for the next couple of weeks if you'd like to see the car.
TIA- Steve
