Wheel question?

Post by mseal »

I seem to remember that Honda (civics) and Miatas had the same 4X100 bolt pattern. Am I remembering correctly? If so, can I mount the alloy wheels from the '94 Miata on the '99 Civic? Is there an issue with the wheel center? Is it too large or does it have to be "opened up" to fit? Same tire sizes. Any ideas?

Bolt pattern is the same for all Civics up to 2003-ish ('04+ went to 114.3 if not mistaken). Hwever I don't remember if the center hub ring is the same diameter. I want to say it is and I'm quite sure of it.

I can measure mine tomorrow and post the diameter if you want.

Miatas have a smaller center bore. So if they are OEM wheels, they need to be enlarged to fit. Also to fit the "daisy" 14" miata wheels on my integra, I had to run small (~1/8") spacers on the front to clear the calipers.
