Anyone know/remember a BRR member from Elon, VA named John Lettingham? I had a gentleman contact me who had seen his name in an old newsletter and is trying to contact him.

The gentleman called me the other week, with the request to drive out to John's farm (about a 45 min drive), and see if there is any activity at the farm. He had John do some work on his TR4, and has been trying to contact John to pick up the car. His phone calls and letters are not answered. I almost drove by to eyeball the farm and see if his car was outside. Eventhough he told me he had cancelled checks for the work, thinking more about it, I am not sure I should get in the middle of someone elses transaction.

Good advice. I don't know either person and don't know how to contact either. I guess that's just one for the round file.
