Another thing I'm looking for soon will be a set of Bilstien's, or koni's- something I can run CSP spring rates on...

Brock,
If you want to keep it simple, you can bolt up the 1.8 manifold to the 1.6 down pipe and use the rest of your 1.6 exhaust (at least that's what I'm doing)

How much spring are you planning on? If you go 700# or more, it's likely that the "regular" Koni yellows will not last long. Don't know about the Bilstein. I have Koni Race (yellows) on the bull. That was the recommendation a few years ago when I put the suspension on the car. I could be wrong, but I've heard stories about having to replace shocks sooner than expected and the spring rates were responsible.

I would like to get Bilstein HD's and send them to Bilstein to revalve them for somewhere around 800#/450#. They said they can do up to like 1200# or something stupid..

on that note, does anyone have/know of a set of NA Bilstein HD's for cheap, aka hopefully blown or close to it? I've passed up a few pairs over the last few months, and now that I want them, I'm having a time finding a set!
