Below is the list of Officer Position Nominees. I'm posting this list here so that nominees can accept or decline their nomination as well as make their case for the position.
No negative comments allowed. No mud slinging etc. I think we can do elections better than the rest of the country

Just so everyone is aware after speaking to Dave lingenfelter and Steve strickland I will be running for the secretary position since we need the spot filled. I hope Casper the ghost does not beat me.

Alan, you primarily act as another Board member, attending meetings and voting on Board issues. Most of our day to day business is transacted via the forum, and we have been trying to meet in person at least once per quarter. (The charter calls for monthly phone meetings, which we'll discuss at the banquet).

Otherwise, if the RE wins the lottery and moves to Vegas or is for some reason absent or unable to perform their duties, you would take his/ her place as the RE until the next round of elections.

No, 3 directors plus RE, Asst RE, Treas, and Sec. for 7 total. Terms are 2 years with overlapping terms.

Out of curiosity when is the next bod meeting? Does it take place before or after current elections? For the changes that may be made for the new year (especially with this whole pro class ordeal) I feel the new nominees should be apart of what decisions are made

Yes - board meetings are open to all members as are officer positions. It is great to have active members and officers.

I would like for people to pen me in as a candidate for Secretary.

I am a little late to get on the nomination sheet, but this is something I feel I could help the club out with. I don't think you will find anyone more committed to autocross than myself.

What I bring to the table is experience with seven different clubs including a trip to nationals to see how the real show is ran. I ran 30+ autocrosses last year and gained great perspective from seeing the operations from all the different clubs. I will to bring new ideas to the table and recycled one from other clubs that have seemed to work well. The other big think I would like to bring to the club is competition. I know everyone that comes out is not out for the competition aspect of it, but at heart we are all race car drivers and I want to push to better everyone in the club.

I would think that my career in the steel industry would also help me to preform the day to day operations of the club Secretary. In the years past I have managed several departments including the production control department for a multi-million dollar company. I am entrusted to make sure we maintain a steady work load for four separate plants. I feel like this would give me an edge into handle the position as secretary.
