Hawk Blue Brake pads- 1.8 Miata fitment

Post by aged racer »

More garage cleaning- have a set of Hawk Blue front brake pads that fit the '99 Spec Miata left over. New and unused, of course. I think they will fit any 1.8 Miata, but will work on any NB (2nd gen) for sure.

Info from Hawk:
Part Number: HB149E.505
Disc Brake Pad; Blue 9012 w/0.505 Thickness
more info here:

I should note that Hawk Blues are recommended for track days or racing. It's a pretty aggressive compound that needs some heat to work effectively.

They run about $116 from most websites- I would like to get $75 for the set.

Send me a PM if you're interested.

Thanks- Steve
