Due to some recent circumstances, i think I'm going to invest in a hardtop for the miata. Ik this is a hard thing to do and will cost me around $1000. Anyone got any tips on finding sellers, selling one, or know someone who is?

Haha alright, how much does it cost to ship one, would it be worth it if i found a good price?

Most likely not worth shipping unless it's a killer deal. I've never had one shipped, hasn't been worth the effort..... Just keep checking Roanoke through Richmond's craiglist, I see them pop up all the time.

if you haven't seen it before, it's a craigslist consolidator. will search cities within a range and save you some time going to each site.

I have seen those, my goal is to find something around the 800-1000 range. most likely dip it black (will use plenty of coats so its not a pain to get off)

I've got one on the car I'm selling. I'd let it go for $700. It's a faded red color, with headliner. Only problem is, I'm in baltimore!

Haha that would be perfect, my car happens to be a faded red color. But that does present a problem, you wouldnt happen to be headed down this way at all in the future would you?

I got mine a couple years ago off CL in Charlotte. Met the seller halfway, snicked it on the car, headed home.

You could also try Miata.net.

You will need some extra bits if the car didn't come that way. Frankenstein bolts and two more spring-loaded catches right behind the seats.

I have the bolts on the back, would just need the catches for the latches behind the seats, where exactly do those go on?

Don't *need the side latches. Never ran them on a couple of cars.

Not really needed in normal driving. I couldn't use the standard brackets due to my rollbar. For time trials I had a bracket that bolted into the factory holes. Only took one bolt on each side to remove.

I have them in my SSM car and I dont have them in my NB. I have noticed that they keep vibration down from comparing my two cars, but they are not absolutely necessary. I plan on getting some for my NB sometime or another lol.
