Call for Nominations- Region Leadership

With the banquet approaching it’s time for the next round of BRR Officer and Board member elections. Positions open for 2015-2016 include Regional Executive (RE), Treasurer, and two Directors.
While we have a beginning slate of nominees, we’re seeking additional candidates interested in joining the Region leadership team. We cannot run the show without volunteers, but more importantly we’re always in search of new ideas and perspectives.
Most Board business takes place via our forum, supplemented by quarterly dinner/ business meetings and the occasional conference call as needed. While RE and Secretary have a defined set of tasks and duties, our Board members bring in a wider view on general club issues and decisions. They also weigh in (vote) on scheduling, expenditures, and general policy and decision making.
If you are interested (or have any questions about the related duties) please let me or any of our current Board Members know. This is your club, and we’d love to have your voice in guiding the Region through the next several years.
PLEASE NOTE- We need your nominations by MONDAY, DECEMBER 15th in order to prepare the on-line ballot.
